After the launch on 18 Novembre, registered teams will be able to take part in the first round, an online quiz with 30 questions that will be available until 18:00 on 4 Decembre 2025 on the competition site.
The highest-scoring teams at the end of the quiz will qualify for the second round, in which the teams have until 18:00 on 4 February 2026 to propose a monetary policy decision in writing based on economic, monetary and financial analysis of the euro area.
The top five teams from the second round will be called for the final in March 2026 (exact date to be confirmed), where they will have to explain to a jury of BCL experts the reasons for their proposed monetary policy decision.
The winning team will be invited to participate to a study trip to Frankfurt including visits of the European Central Bank and other institutions, and will be offered a 2-weeks paid summer internship at the BCL.
